Mrs Bala Choudhary

Dental Hygienist & Therapist

GDC No. 135596

I qualified as a dentist in 2001 and having spent 4 years working in private practice abroad, decided to move to the UK to further my learning by pursuing a career as a Dental Hygienist & Therapist.

Prior to becoming registered in the UK, I worked as a sedation nurse for many years, which gave me valuable skills in managing anxious patients and seeing the patient from a different perspective. I have extensive experience of managing oral health and am able to build rapport easily. I always listen to the patient’s expectations, from the care they expect to the way they would like their treatment to progress. I keep my knowledge and skills up to date by regularly attending courses and carrying out clinical self-audits.

In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, cooking and travelling.
